This is one of my first watercolor paintings. I like the carefree feel of it. My wonderful husband had brought me home a set of watercolors and a pad of watercolor paper. Although extremely excited, I was also pretty intimidated by them for some reason. I decided to give them a try. At first, I wasn't at all pleased with my work, but some practice, pictures and videos inspired me to experiment more. The more I played with them, instead of "worked" with them, the more fun I had, and the more pleased I was with the final products.
A lesson learned: Art is only as intimidating as you let it be. Have FUN with it, you may surprise yourself.

Watercolors & Sharpie markers. This one is from a few years ago, but just came across it again. I love it and wanted to share it with you.
